We're getting about a bit at the moment – up to London, down to Cornwall – and on 15th March 2007 I'll be at The Business League's North Devon Business Event in Barnstaple.

Members from the Barnstaple, Bideford, East Devon and Tiverton clubs will be converging on the Barnstaple Hotel for 7am for a four-hour networking meeting.

Now, I used to be quite cynical about networking events – even having written a comedy play about them – but The Business League is enabling businesses across the South West to connect with each other. It now has 15 weekly breakfast clubs and four more are soon to open. What's more, it's not regimented and is friendly as well as professional, so you're always sure of a warm welcome.
